There is no option of a close-out step in this case,absolutely no other way he could have stopped him!If you watch all the video you'll see that the 2nd and 3rd camera reveal the truth...Gasol had the choice to stop and let Javtokas score and just take the ball out of bounds.WTH,it's just a "friendly" game between NATIONAL TEAMS and it's only 2 points.Or he could just NOT go under him.Instead,he made the worst possible choice...he went under AND hit him with his right arm!He needs a lesson...

I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt,in this case,I doubt that he could ever catch up with Robertas on the drive,because Robertas is very athletic and compared to Gasol Jr has a very fast first step and the @ss was standing upright.So (at first) I wanted to believe that he didn't mean for this to happen,that he had just lost his balance and tripped and the moment he realized he couldn't do anything to prevent the 2 points,he decided to let him score...BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE! :(

@Brisker15 dude i'm watching a friendly game slovenia : spain right now and i can tell you that the refs blow the whistle for every touch - i mean a spaniard bumps a slovenian and the latter gets the foul - while allowing spaniards to play very aggressively and with lots of contact. spanish refs are the 6th, 7th and the 8th player in the spanish team in the game. and it's not like this the first time either - it's more like *every* time (have watched a friendly match last year also, same story).

@Brisker15 in the first quarter slovenians got 9 pfs in a few minutes while spaniards got their first only toward the second half of it. at the end of the third q there's *two* slovenians already on the bench with 5 fouls. so instead of patronizing serbs and lithuanians you should probably watch a game or two because either half of europe is "crying" or there's really something wrong with spanish refs.
