This one of those classic 2 1/2 minute 8mm movies that were produced by Castle Films. I believe it was owned by Universal. Back in the 1960's we owned 8mm and Super 8mm movie cameras and projectors. Even though these were silent, they were the closest we had to today's DVD. Classic ! I believe Castle Films was owned by Universal.
thats an awesome video thanks for posting great to see courthouse square even back then..backdrop for classics such as back to the future and gremlins awesome

"Court House Square" Isn't that the famous set from "Back To The Future" that burned down last year? Cool film, a real time capsule!

I would LOVE 2 visit the set of The Munsters,as well as MANY tv shows from that time through the 70's. Shows today are going downhill,FAST.

The "Munster house" is very near the house used for Leave it to Beaver, and not too far from the Psycho mansion, all produced on the Universal lot.

Cool old souvenir movie from the 1960's. Super-8 or 16mm. Just the perfect thing for Home Movie Night!
My, how things have changed!

The videos of the period, didn't have sound. Music would usually be inserted into the background.

Are you kidding? This was the '60s, there weren't silent movies anymore! Where'd you get this video, by the way?
scipiomask 4 years ago
No, not kidding at all. Home video cameras were different then what we know today. Film and TV studios had different formats entirely.
