i can see were every one is coming from and i understand. In saying that let me say this, Torture never worked in the past or present and it will not work in the future. The FBI proved that. Torture ruins the soul of the tortuere and wrecks the nation doing it.

This nation is based on laws.
If the president or any person who works in a government position can be above the law, then they are not our employees anymore, they are something else...
You can try and advocate torture to make it legal, though.

Here's a novel idea...let's get rid of any Congress man or woman, including the President, VP and all the bad apples and FIRE THEM for breaking the laws they swore to uphold! This is not being soft of terrorism; this is standing up for America's values. Who do these jackals think they are, that they can defy the laws of our land with impugnity? Why aren't more of us outraged and doing something about this band of thieves who have seized control of our land (with the Supreme Court's help)?
