im glad to hear this, there are to many people out there who keep going on "this should be banned" and "it going to hurt our children". ITS NOT FOR KIDS! besides whatever happened to a little something called the first amendment or the right to free speech? i dont care what you personaly believe. i am becoming a video game developer myself and i dont want to be censored just because some one is pissed off, isnt the point of being an american having the right to live your life the way you want?

Well I think I ruined some kid's chrismas. I was buying MW2 (19/12/2009) and I saw a Father getting MW2 for his son 9 year old son. I asked him if knew that the game was not for kids. He said "really? are you sure?".

I told him to look at the rating on box and then he was like "Oh my" He then turned to his son and said "Oh sorry Tim can't get this...how about lego star wars?"

It's amazing how many parents can be soo ignorant.

Its not about being too afraid to show what happens in real life. I have no problem with a cut scene of the game play. Its the *participation* in the act that is fucked up and unnecessary. Mass murder shootings happen all too often around the world (Columbine, Virginia Tech, Ft. Hood). This type of crime is literally a contemporary problem... it should not be used for entertainment or promoted. No self respecting company should script this game play in.

MW2 is rated mature. if you cant handle killing fake people, with fake bullets, in a fake scenario. then your obviously not mature enough for the game. so just dont buy it and stop bitching.
