yout shouldn't lay your parts on the carpet. If they got spiked, you would have been through. P.S.- They are IDE wires not Rainbows and also graphics is on the motherboard not the hard drive.
i have a problem with your #4. To be honest all parts are "the most important parts"..You need all parts for a computer. So just 2 parts out of the bunch cannot be most important..
Do you realise a computer needs a motherboard, PSU, and Memory to function along with the hard drives and processor.. If you dont then your just as bad if not worse than the guy who made this video
Also, you should NEVER put together, let alone touch a computer component while you're on a carpeted surface! There's a very high risk of ESD, even if you're wearing anti-ESD equipment.
I get easily confused as to where those wires from the front panel should be connected. I wish you would be more detailed as to polarity. The diagram i have is a bit confusing. Like, what is Power SW. I am a novice. Sorry.
It was the first computer i built ok. I learned on my own without help its all trial and error. I bet i know more then you know.

It's not a memory stick it's RAM
Also, you should NEVER put together, let alone touch a computer component while you're on a carpeted surface! There's a very high risk of ESD, even if you're wearing anti-ESD equipment.
Oh and those wires are ribbon cables, not wires
I'm the same age as you ^^ good job

RAM= Random Access MEMORY... there shaped like sticks so why not call them Memory sticks?

It's actually pretty common for people to call them memory sticks.

Thats what i mean there is on on the motherboard
redgator11 4 years ago
theres no internal graphics card on your hardrive if nething but not always there would be an integrated graphics accelerator on your motherboard.
