Flight 93 was shut down. I lived outside of Pittsburgh at the time. Raw news coverage of eye witness accounts said they saw an F-16 approach the plane. They knew that 93 was headed back to washington and intercepted it. I heard this from a retired air traffic controller who was working the screens on that day and saw it. too
