Fantastic video. I am not fan of magical girls, but I watched this show, and was very surprised about the general feeling, so far from the fluffy glittering stories about magical girls. I wondered why they made an aperture music so far from the feeling of the show. This is the real tone of the story. Good video. I liked it very much. At least a real trailer about what you can find in this show. :P

As for why the opening is the way it is the idea was to fool the audience though there's still some clues in it,if you pay attention to the lyrics you'll notice they're quite relevant to the plot.If you look past all the pink you'll notice that in the opening madoka is almost always sad or crying.
