when i was down the falklands last year the eurofighter is stationed there...amazing aircraft...even got the chance to sit in one...fully armed..prob why it took me nearly 20 secs to get in it...too afraid to touch something that might go bang!!!

Nice lines on that bird; sleek and agile. I've always loved the delta shape- F-106, Dassault Mirage 2000 and Rafale, etc.

@PurplePunisher69, its because they understand that when Britain and Europe really get to it and bother to put something together the finish product astounds them... The USAF does not have no matter what they say have an aircraft that has the dogfighting capabilities as the Typhoon. Although they do have the F-22 raptor... but so what the UK is soon getting the F-35 meaning we too have that capability so their arguments become rather redundant...

@GWSkingmotely96 modern fighters can pull as many as they like but the computers controle the plane because the pilot would otherwise die with too many G. The G limits are set so the pilot can engage in dogfight and win but its up to the pilots skill and training to pull the G as long as possible.

I only bought tickets for waddo to see the Vulcan fly. Maybe next year. At the end of the day, it's a machine ( and an old one at that). Machines do have problems from time to time but why when i want to see it for the first time since '92 !!

My sis is ATC at Waddington and apparently there just wasn't enough commitment from foreign air forces this year she said. No fault of the RAF. Waddington (except RIAT at Cottesmore maybe) is meant to be the RAF's best showcase. She was still gutted, she had to work all through Sunday guiding them then all night creating thier flight plans home haha poor girl!
