When I saw him in the 80's and early 90's it was a whole different thing I was younger he was younger the scene at Club Bene in NJ was a more exciting scene

I been seeing Allan at the Iridium I think since he started playing there 2006 before that he played BB Kings before he switched venues. I always stay for the two sets in the beginning since he plays there 4 days straight. First time I think I saw three 6 shows. By 2010 I was getting tired of Chad even though I like Chad and the set was the same ol same ol. But he's coming back in March with Virgil on drums maybe a different experience Im not sure anymore.

allan messed up a couple heads a little bit, I don't think he liked that very much.

ah well, I guess he wouldn't be as good as he is if he wasn't so self-critical.

and btw, wackerman had a solo that was just the sickest solo I'd ever see him do. it was really incredible

@Timotheedle That was the 10:30 set , of the last of the shows in nyc. Allan was real tired and i think he just wanted to get the fuck out of there. He sounded great to me, but then again, I think even if he droped his guitar on the floor, it would sound good to my ears. P.S The guy with the hat SUCKS!!! he would not stop moving. peace GG
