@wertube1 best team goal in my top 3 along, mcfaddens in paris but for me nothing not even marodona's goal against england beats archie gemmills against holland 1978 world cup! For me the greatest goal i have ever seen against world class defenders! It beats maradona's as unlike his run the tackles were actually flying in at archie and he danced through them and if you watch the half hearted tackles from england players who could even have done better maradona might not have scored! my opinion

@wertube1 I hope it works out for wee Burke at Birmingham.He is always a good wee player to have.When he has his game face on.It is clear that he has the ability.Its just getting it out of him more often.If he played like he did in this game week in and week out.He would not be playing in the championship.And would be playing at a much higher level.Still he has the chance of it next season.If they go up again.Houghton is a decent boss.So there is a good chance that it will happen for them there.

I watched Burkes first and the funny thing is there were about 15 passes before this clip starts...it was breath taking and having watched both that goal and Gemmills in 78 live as they happened I rate that higher because the passing was like watching Brazil at THEIR best let alone our best....

This is without doubt the greatest game of attacking football by Scotland that I have ever seen in my life. The construction of attacks, the movement, the passing, the clinical finishes and the team ethic. It was superb.

The match was a few years ago but I still remember it.

Also, if that fourth goal (Chris Burke's first goal) was scored by Brazil then people would be raving about it. The passing, the patience, the confidence and the finish.. fantastic.
