Brilliant at around 4:03 keep on rocking Chang and show a lot of lazy guitarists who make lame comments about your nationality what dedication and talent result in:)
there can be only one Garry Moore. although you play very well, i don't see the point of showing how great you can copy him note for note. why not come up with some new arrangements or interpretations of your own for the song? it'll more interesting. be yourself. if note for note, we can always watch and listen to the real GM doing this in youtube anytime.
@russjchandra did you read the discription of the video? guess not. Well the video is not meant to shocase the player its purly to show the sound of the swing classic dc guitar hes playing
I posted my first youtube jam the other day. I listened back to what i had played and then raped my own cat. Afterwards i was like wtf, that was a totally irrelevant and unnecessary thing to do. True story.
No i didn't and I will 'never do. For that amount of money I can play 10 x better guitar than PRS. I have 10 guitars in my collection, most of them (very old) strats but PRS is just ovreprised. If you know how to fix a guitar almost everone can sound perfect. All I said is try to play Swing, I did and I was really surprized..
@CipollaErMeyo You should try to play on Swing Jaff Watson. It sound a lot better then PRS and it's just amazing how great that guitar actually is for the haklf of the PRS price.
Desire and dedication. There are podigies, but it's mostly about putting in the time and practicing. I know too many kids that play two weeks and want to start a band.
Yea seriously, there is no such thing as a "gifted" child or "child prodigy." All those terms mean is that the fucking kid started earlier than the average age of beginners and/or practiced more efficiently than other people that barely practice new or faster things.
Anyone who actually believes only "gifted" or "prodigy" people can become the best at their instruments are complete and utter dumbshits, because there's no such thing as that shit, just hard and efficient practice.
Bollocks....so Beethoven wasn't gifted then....he just practiced so hard as a kid that he was able to write his own masterpieces...what a fucking retard, you gotta be an American.
Well, for fuck sake - stop spouting utter crap...of course there are people with natural ability to acquire certain skills...if you can't respond with reasoned argument then please don't bother at all. You see, you prove my point, for every gifted person there is always an idiot - like you...pmsl.
OK where's your reasonable argument supporting that some magical or divine thing is magically giving people "gifts", rather than just being born healthy and raised in an environment where they are able to excel at whatever they may one day master? Exactly, get that sand out of your vagina and stop whining to someone you don't know over the internet.
Reasoned argument. There are people born to this world with natural aptitudes to learning different things...accept it, otherwise if one should accept your reasoning all one has to do is practice more than one other to be better. This is clearly not the case. In most instances, in most arenas those that excel routinely do not practice as hard as those trying to achieve the same levels, as they have natural ability or are gifted in these areas...dumb fucker....
@ipodminisilver I think it's pretty clear this guy was refering to the technique side of thing's so bringing up whether someone has the sense or creativity to write a materpeice is irrelevant. As far as the technique thing goes he's right, as long as you have two hand's, a brain and enough time/dedication, you can "play" as good as this dood, it's that simple, you may ironically lack in one of these area's tho.
Whereas I would agree that everyone would make progress with practice, not everyone would do so at the same rate. However, whatever the race the fact remains - technique can be learnt but sheer ability and raw talent cannot and it is these things that separate out the great from the good. And, I dont believe I lack either intelligence or ability to dedicate thanks !
I'm not quite sure we're on the same wav e lgth completely, almost to lol, I'm yet to read anything that mention's race, I get your point tho and to an extent I can agree but I still think a lot of it is in everyone's hand's not just a select few.
