@ActivistOne472 the reason they would ban dodgeball is because it is a recreational sport played in P.E. at times, but football and baseball are actual sports held by the state. If you get hurt in football or baseball you signed up for it, and injury's happen. but in dodgeball, not everybody wants to play, and if someone gets hurt the district, school, and teacher are to blame.

Also, last time I checked, you don't have middle aged sports analysts playing against 7 year olds. In HS we played 5 different types of dodgeball and for the most part we used "Gatorballs", good quality foam balls. Flew the same distance and speed as regular dodgeballs, and were a whole lot softer.

The game has evolved somewhat and become a bit safer too. Play the damn game already.
