I realize just being inspired is rather lame. I intend to be active, but I am the sole income for a family of four, so I kind-of need to avoid jail at the moment.

Good thinking. I wasn't suggesting jail (and I don't think civil disobedience is the only way to be active. I'm not convinced it's even the best way). There are lots of different people being active in lots of different ways from political action to civil disobedience to just living freer. FreeStateProject(dot)org is where it all starts.
no one expect you to go to jail or risk it....simply joining the discussion is helpful...maybe get on the web forum at NHfree*com or NHLiberty*org if nothing else. From there you can find out ways to safely help.
Thank you for standing up for the rest of us, and thank you for everything else you have been doing to promote Dr. Paul and hold our government to the constitution.
As 82ND vet, it is disturbing to me that many in our great nation seem to favor candidates who are so eager to sacrifice individual liberties for "The Common Good." I have sworn an oath to support and defend The Constitution of the United States, against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. That compels me to speak out against candidates who would treat our founding documents with disdain. That is precisely why I support Ron Paul.
Airborne, the issues being raised by Dr. Paul this election are smoking the other politicians out. They are no longer able to disguise their positions as disdain for the constitution and the rights it was enacted to protect. Now they are being made to show their open contempt for it.
The people are waking up. I never thought I'd see it. But it cannot be stopped now. This is good news for the human race.
