those plugs are like old European plug, i live in Denmark and we only have some with 2 of those plug things in the end now a days, my grandmother used to have that kind as on that lamp. :)

(ohh, fyi, there is no such thing as a european plug. there are many different one. for example, the central european is 2 medium sized holes, the uk has 3 massive square holes etc. :) so if you wanna go on a euro tour, best make sure to get a super convertor, lol)
