good vid I . have found that if you carve a point on either end of a straght throwing stick it gives it an extra dimension as it can be made to penetate when used with an overhand throw, good to use in woodland over close ranges, the kaili stick (boomerang type) is great though for more open ground I love the simplicity and effectiveness of the technology great stuff
Grinding red ocre...degraded hematite. It has been used as a wood stain, paint preservative, ritual item, sunscreen, etc. world-wide for thousands of years. Here, I was pulverizing the ocre and mixing with fat to produce a light red wood stain.

Check out the arroyos that go into Angeles National Forest and the San Gabriel Mountains.
There are many spots like it.
