  • and god spoke,, let there be hawkwind the first and the last, the beginning and the end of mankind as we know it ,love your work

  • the universe is at our feet 2012 is it the end or just the begginning we are a mere speck in the cosmos light travels at 186,000 miles per sec saturn is aprox 1.5 trillion miles at 100 kilometers per hour it will take 20 years one way to get there from your spaceman andy

  • Great stoner head banging music man......

  • ANYONE HAVE A COPY OF DO RE ME ETC.I WOULD BY IT.

  • Timeless, just fuckin timeless...

  • the obligatory warning to not listen to this while taking acid unless you are a Ninth Level Acid Lord Journeyman Trip Ranger minimum. Less than that and you will never come back, destined to a future in a psychiatric lock-down wetting your pants as you rock back and forth to the sounds in your head, man. No dig.

  • @TubobRainbowUnicorn

May the lords of light bless you man man.

I've been into hawkwind & trips for over 20years and still cry when i listen to the masters...

  • @theHUMANing Dont cry dude. It's only the best band EVER.

  • @TubobRainbowUnicorn i second those words!!!! Many good Journeys on the Wings of Hawkwind.

  • lemmy said he,d never played a bass before he joined hawkwind.i dont believe him!

  • @assinomen You should believe him, because while he's full of shit in many ways he's not shitting about this. He played guitar.

  • @jackal59 i did believe him i knew he had played in bands before i was sarcastic about him bullshitting anyway thanks for tip he was in that band in wales {liked hawks for 30 years}anyway wont debate with a fellow conniseur i think we mean the same thing great album...best wishes

  • @jackal59 i reread what you said ..so your saying he HAD NEVER played bass before hawkwind?just guitar i understand now thanks! (told you it pays not to argue with a hawkwind buff!!)

  • Fantastic.

  • /watch?v=oZyiy8m2BpQ

  • One change is a masterpiece isn't it ? love the darkness and stereo panning, i'll upload it myself if i cant find it on here. Love the Lemmy bassline. took me a few weeks to get it off, but well worth it. wish mt band would play it more .. i love playing the bit at 2:08 .. makes me feel glad to be alive :) - thanks for uploading :)

  • timeless....a masterpiece...I wish someone would post 'One Change', I don't have Doremi anymore ... must get it again....

  • @Duke69bof UrbanGuerilla88 has a 14.16 Space is deep One Change and lord of light.

  • timeless....a masterpiece...

  • AHHH,SHROOOOOOMMMMMMSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

  • thanx one of the first albums I bought,,,,,,,,,

  • GREATINGS BROTHERS

  • have a nice trip

  • The elephants they have no beer .......

  • "load of lighit?"this song called "Lord of light"!!!!!!

  • Where did it all go wrong? The last cd I bought was by Richmond Fontaine..

  • I'm not stoned enough to enjoy this as much as I could but it's still fantastic!

  • I do think that it's "Lord of Light" as opposed to "Load of...........

  • Lord of light

  • there was a LP release (might have been Japanese) that had is spelt Load instead of Lord.

  • Saw these guys back in the day. Strange experience - they were clearly having an "off" night. But they had dancing girls so I was cool with it! The sax player almost fell off the stage a few times....

But I had all their early lp's. And I have to admit that I didn't even (ahem) get the title for at least a week! I'll blame it on the smoke.

  • The bass here is just divine- powerful to say the least. Many bassists today think that being 'good' equals being fast and/or executing extremely complicated solos. Lemmy proved that the bass is mostly about spirit and energy.

  • take a look in the Space Ritual version of this track...

Lemmy playing th Bass like a true Rock Star.

  • excellent track saw it performed live some years ago and is one of my fave tracks.been into h/w for over 25 yrs and still fly with the bird...for those who know.

  • This album is a classic. I got it when I was 12. Unbelievable stuff.

  • Can this still be found on CD somewhere? I'm currently trying to track down all their albums, if that's even possible!

  • Aye mate they nearly all saw a CD release. Get yourself on Ebay. I got extremely lucky and bagged this for £1.98 including postage! Best £1.98 I ever spent... though Space Ritual was my fav... Anyways hope this helps.

  • Good to know, their music is so hard to find over here in the US but the Internet is a power tool, they can be had. Rock on!

  • Good hunting mate...

  • What i didnt know you could get it on Cd too, ive got it on good old Tape hahahah

  • dig it!

    thanks for posting.

  • Always thank you for Mr. forker2006.
