PLEASE REPLY: i am really concerned about jailbreaking my ipod touch incase it goes into the BRICK mode that people are always talking about, plus what is cydia? i am really confused i need a full explanation about what to do and what will happen if something goes wrong.

so i got the sd far as the iphone 3gs rebooting. everything works accept i dont see the blackraIn icon therefore cant download cydia? also when i do a reboot it appears im getting a teathered unlock because it locks back everytime. any advice on how to A get the icon and cydia? then how to keep it from locking anytime i reboot?

The process of rebooting is: turn on your iPhone and it will bring up the iTunes cable. Then, open blackra1n and click "make it rain". Then it will bring up the creepy picture of the guy on your iPhone and it will reboot. I'm gonna make a video on it in five minutes if you're confused.

I just get 3Gs and trying to jailbreak every thing goes well but ( I have blackea1n icon

After that I install Cydia then I install Rock then unlock )after that when I turn off my iPhone and turn back ON every time I get iTunes cable on my iPhone then I have to restore the firmware to every think back on

You have what is called a tethered jailbreak, meaning whenever you wanna reboot, you must run the blackra1n program on your computer.
