i saw the remake, it's really different, it didn't started like this, i´m just starting to watch it, but the obvious differences between this and the remake is that it has good effects and the sound is really loud (which i didn't liked because i felt like if i was going to bleed from the ears) and when i saw the remake there where this bunch of assholes who were talking

@EdJackBlog I just saw the remake as well.... it was okay.... obviously the original is the best (as it seems to be with any sequel.) I noticed that during the remake the camera seemed to (deliberately) go out of focus for no apparent reason. That really got under my skin.

AHh, this is SUCH a quality horror film. I've been buying and getting rid of this DVD countless times throughout the years and have again been seriously considering buying it again. (I've been selling it only in hopes to give up the horror genre and stick with thrillers but I can't seem to succeed.) I can't help it, I'm a Freddy fan. i mean for the time it was a really original idea that re-vamped the whole slasher genre as a whole.

I'm not gonna pay for the NOES remake. I read the original script and it's very unoriginal in story and atmosphere, especially the end makes no sense and is the biggest cliche in horror movie history. Plus strips Freddy off of one of his essentials. He's not innocent though but well, I don't wanna spoil any more. I just say the remake's Freddy AND story lack any original power. All that this one holds.

Because downloading is illegal so I keep from it whenever I can, and I only rip DVD's if I want to make fan videos of the film, (they fall under the fair ude policy of the copyright law), and even then I usually own the DVD. And I don't care to make fan videos of NOES and certainly don't care to own the remake. I'll wait until I can rent the remake for free or someone else violates the copyright law and uploads it to YouTube. But probably rent anyway, much more enjoyable to watch on tv screen.
