@GunnerAjf44 I listen to bands both past and present. Music changes, evolves. Queen, Rollling Stones, Aerosmith, during their eras they WERE pop. Don't you get it? Why do you think you enjoy their music? they had the same formulaic pop of their time as well. And its all catchy and fun to listen to. Get over yourself.

To name a few.... I'm not raggin on older rock, I love that stuff as well. Tom Petty, Van Halen, AC/DC are some of my favorite bands. But you do know that classic rock origins came from 'nigger' style of jazz type singing right? Just check out Elvis.
