La Sarenne is ranked black for two main reasons: it's convenient for the resort who can claim the longest black, and it also means that there's less commitment on the maintenance. Since it's a bit remote from the rest of the domain, it's easier if maintenance is not a high due. All that said, it's a fab ride and you really feel far from the World. Just be careful if temp is too mild: there's a flat 4kms portion at the bottom to go back to civilization

looks like a blue to me in the pocnos or vermont black diamonds are steeper then this. makes u go way faster. btw how did u guys get up there dont see any chairlifts around.

I've been down this run, reading on a video or a bit of paper.. This run is 16km long, you don't quite realise just how long it is until you do it for yourself!

Loved it, every second. Alpe D'Huez is amazing, definetly recommend it to anyone.

P.S - Those two boys don't have fear in them at all!

i gota say, the video does the run no credit but its often hard to do that. i've done this run and those kids got balls if they did it from the top peek. destroys your thy muscles.
