Brilliant! I always struggled with pasting photos onto texture maps. Never knew this was possible in this way with Blender. Excellent tutorial, I learned a lot in the past 40 minutes!
Just for your info. You can also resize a window by hovering over the window and "shift+space" and that will do the same job. And cant wait for continuation of your house elf. Designing my own little monster thingy to use for learning from that tutorial.
@vicrobinsontattoo that's the plan; we'll see how long the rest of the texturing and hair sections go (i have to be able to fit everything on a single DVD ;) )
@ward7299 sssshhhweeeet im slowly plodding through house elf year one ;) ill have a turntable up when im finished and a big ol thank you there buddy, cant wait to by this dvd!
Man, turn on texture shading while you manipulate the uv map to see what you are doing in real time.

When I paint the texture from the front over the full texture all I get is a white brush painted over the Full_Texture.
The Clone brush in the Tool bar is selected, among with the under Project Paint, Layer and Front, instead of Full_Texture is selected.
What am I doing wrong?

When I paint the face, Blender paint one side and copies it to the other side. How can I turn this off?

are you going to use an external renderer in the end?
Krornus 1 year ago
@Krornus i'll most likely stick with the blender internal, it's always worked pretty well for me
