@Rohan 1053-- I agree. We have to realize that, that was an era in which the raag, the words, the music, the vocalists were all different. The songs meant something in the films. And Rafi saab could have moderated his voice to suit any actor. When Rafi sang for Shammi Kapoor, you would think Shammi was singing himself. There is no comparison with today songs. I love purani movie songs and especially Rafi saab. And yes, I can see " tere khayal". There, Yuan, I have said it.
