SDs are worth their weight in gold! I also made a video showing just some of the things my angel can do for me. Thank you for sharing the gift that is Quasi.

Hi love your dog I am looking into getting one because I am in a wheelchair myself also I am vision in-pare so I do not know how I could do that please sub me back thanks and comment if you like my dog
glad you like my video. i still cringe when i see it because i know i coulda done it much better. i can relate to your comment about wishing you had started the process (of adopting) much sooner. i waited 20+ years and now i wish i had acquired a PAWS Dog much sooner. Are you getting a dog from PAWS With A Cause? or are you going through a different org? also, i'd enjoy hearing more about your experience as things develop. i'm also quite curious as to the nature of your disability. write back!
Very nice. take a look at Gizmo You tubes "gizmo the service dog. Now Gizmo is 11 and she is still working but the playing is still chasing her duck but she also does a lot of sleeping.
Big Hugs for Quasi - love the name! I had a service dog from PAWS named Abby. She was with me from 2/1994 until 11/2/2004. What a good girl she was. I might try to digitalized her video for all to see. PAWS trainers are the best. My second service dog is a Golden - he is doing well but he has moments when he'll bark at another dog, etc. Abby was perfect or at least that is what I want to remember. Lunar, my Golden sd not from PAWS is a work in progress.
We love you Quasi =) I'm so glad your SD is able to help you in your daily life, they are such a blessing aren't they =) I've got a Psychiatric Service dog myself, best thing that's ever happened to me =)
Hi Roger! Nice demo video. Pippin and I have been working on his reactivity and he is much improved. We had planned to take another cruise in January 2011, but decided against it for financial reasons.
wow, that's amazing. So inspiring, i might not go as far as fostering a pup for this. But i'm definetely going to be training my blue merle australian shepherd for therapy purposes. I'm very happy you found your best friend, he's got a great personality. Very calm, and obedient, yet playful and fun! :) congratulations.

Thanks for sharing! I have a seizure response dog named "AMBER"! Yes, I know how it feels to have a true friend! PWAC is the best at training and matching us! Good job to you and Quasi! I have to admit, I shed a tear or 2 watching this. True teamwork!!! Thanks again!!! :)
what a great video! thanks so much for this! You have a great dog. Quasi looks exactly like the puppy I raised who will hopefully become a guide dog. He is also a lab/golden. What a great dog. You can tell he is so happy.

I loved where Quasi was playing. My mom has a chihuahua that does the same thing, so this brought back some good memories.

Ah, my apologies sir. You're correct, of course.
I must work to be more respectful of peoples abilities. I should know better. I really prefer to be called MR. Moron by my friends.
Take care sir. And thank you for the laugh.
:D
