im confused by this pose. When I go from warrior one to warrior two, I find it confusing what I am supposed to do with my hips. I know in the first one they go forward, but in this one, are you just supposed to let your hips go out in front of you? that looks, like what she is doing, but if that is the case then nothing hurts. And I know that every other pose I do in yoga, hurts a lot, so I figure I'm doing something wrong......
I only held the pose for about 45 sec. in each direction and not only can I feel the effects in my lower abdomen, lower back, lower sides and upper thighs--- I also feel refreshed and energized! Your instruction is greatly appreciated, Sonja.
yoga / yogi = terms George Lucas used to name Yoda, Jedi Master. Many Euro & East Asian nations pronounce "j" like the English "y"; hence an easy connection for Lucas's creation of the name Yoda.
Also consider the loose rules of Anagrams: one rule states rotating a letter can make it look like another letter, to hide true meaning. Spin that "g" 180 degrees and you'll see a "d".
I've been trying these forms and I can tell this is what I need. I'm a heavy diesel truck and transit bus mechanic and the job comes with a risk of back injury. I've heard great things about Yoga helping with that for both recovery and prevention. Keep these vids coming and I look forward to the full workout video.
Do you have any yoga positions or exercises ;stretches I could do as I am an above the knee amputee and need to stretch out my muscles in my right leg which is whole in order to help me get back into my prosthetic leg faster than what I am currently doing and that is laying face down and elevate my legs as low as I can go on my amputation? I'm on disability and have no money to speak of after paying my bills and it's not covered by my insurance. I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you.
A lot of these videos have these skinny girls in em and it's hard to relate. Sonja, you are more of a mesomorph, (muscular) and that is easier to relate too.
Thank you this was very helpful! Greetings from the Caribbean!

Yoda = Yoga in a fictional fantasy film. ;-)
