It uses very small LED's. No reason why they can't be changed for different colours. But it would be time consuming because there are 256 of them. Per side!

I actually thought the blue colour here was a trick of the light for a moment?! White LED's sometimes look weird on camera..

yeah its just the camera, i was joshing you about the custom mod. When i went to see toshio in NY at the tenori launch he kept saying "white is best" when asked about diff colour lights. they had some beta tenoris, one had orange lights and i think one had red, in some of my other films they are not as blue and i think i'm using the same aiptekHD. weird.

White is best because at least with white leds you can make them look any color you want by change the color of the lightning. If you had red leds you would never be able to have them look totally blue for instance even with with a blue, it would be purple instead :)

I think controlling external synths really opens up the Tenori On. I have yet to use it with my Virus. That's awesome. Thanks for posting.

no the midi is playing the korg. there is no audio passs through from the tenori to the korg. only midi

I suppose its the audio in, you use and not midi? Well, it's fun to hear new ways to combine the machines.

We where trying the audio-in with korg but with a taperecording. You can heare it on my video: LID Jam 17
