  • Hi Edna! I love your work...I have a question, How do you secure the silk ribbon on a BC covered cake? What is the best way to hide the end of the ribbon if I do not ended with a bow?

  • I put dots like if it was a button closure. I secure it in the back with a dot of glue gun. Just make sure it doesnt hit the cake.

    Edna :)

    Edna :)

  • wow, you're so talented!! such beautiful cakes

  • Hi Edna, I just wanted to ask how do you attach artificial flowers onto a wedding cake?

  • If they are smaller usually Icing. If they are really big, usually buttercream and the wire. If it is fondant You can use Royal Icing or even white chocolate.

    Edna :)

  • Hello,

How do you make the swirls on a cake?

Do you just do it freehand or have a pattern?

  • I do them freehanded.. Takes a bit of practice. Practice in a board first. I find that trying to follow a pattern can be more difficult than creating one yourself..

    Edna :)

  • Que Bonito
