Nice articulation, but the style seemed very poor, dynamically speaking. Part of it may be due to playing outdoors, but still it seemed pretty flatlined.

I wish that I could hear the tuba a bit more- but I'm sure that this is either due to the camera, or the spot where the recorder of the video was sitting.

The sound is suprisingly full for being outside.

Heh, even the Air Force band refuses to play the bassoon part as written-- I still have memories of my head asploding because Sousa wrote it in an unwieldy high range for the bassoon.

Sousa wrote this to (either the queen of england or a princess of england, i forget) anyways she was supposed to be very attractive, and this was written to her about her

Ahhh, this song is so much fun! <3 My 8th grade concert band did this for our Concert on Wednesday and our Festival on Thursday and all I have to say is Funfunfunfun with the dynamics. Eeeee. <3

i love this piece because its different than any of the other things he's made.

my high school has a military marching band, and we play lots of songs composed by sousa. this one is so much more dainty.

lol his others are really powerful and intended for a strong low brass and trumpet section. this one is more written for the woodwinds.
