Review: Root Cases Bamboo iPhone 4, 4S Case

Agreeing with the others DO NOT do business with this company. Root cases has been a huge letdown! They have extremely poor customer service. I had ordered an iPhone 4s wenge case and when it arrived it had a crack on it. Sent them an email and was shipped a new one, however i was resent the WRONG case. Since then ive been trying to contact them for over a month. They have ignored all my attempts to contact them. To comment on the cases they are beautiful i have to admit but are EASILY CRACKED!

DO NOT order from this company! I received a broken case (cracked at the top and bottom) and when i tried to contact them there was no response. I sent three e-mails and not one response. They don't have a phone number or a return address to contact them. I then added a comment on Facebook about the awful customer service and they DELETED my comment and BLOCKED me. I've never been treated so badly by any retail company. It's total fraud.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ROOT CASE. The first case I received did not even fit my phone. After 3 weeks, I finally got my replacement. However, this case only lasted 2 weeks before the bottom portion completely broke off (I've never dropped phone). I sent 3 emails but still have not heard back (2 months ago). Many other consumers have problems, but their comments have been quickly deleted by the Root Case owner. Poor product and poor company.

Hey Daniel, thanks for making this video. I am really interested in the case, but I just have a few quick questions.

1. Obviously you know that the white iPhone is a little thicker than the black one. Does this affect the way the case fits on the phone?

2. Does having a screen protector on the front and back affect the way it fits as well?

1. Black or White iPhone, they pretty much fit the same in it.

2. Having a screen protector on it will also not affect the fit of the case, and vice versa.

@461932570 Actually, I put my iPhone 4s in this case, the sleep button was fine and all the other buttons worked in it. The vibrate selector & volume buttons were slightly off, but not really enough to matter.

@dahmn8r1 Only the Verizon ones for sure. Other iPhone 4 cases might not have the buttons line up on the side (the silent switch primarily).
