Dream Letter was a major vinyl score for me, I couldn't find it anywhere. Fine Vinyl indeed, made my month. Entertaining?....I am Stilll cracking up at your epic video, you know the one I am talking about ;)
I saw Santana for the first time when they toured the Caravanserai album. It was quite spiritual with Carlos lighting candles and setting a deep atmosphere. It was excellent. But these black hands??
@dereckvon Wow! What an introduction to Santana, and that is how i gave it a first listen, a quiet, darkened room. Just superb. I would have lit a few candles, but I seem to having some problems lately with fire ;)
@bigstar1000 Brand new 180 gram vinyl on the "Speakers Corner", A beautiful recording, I had high expectations (since it was recommended by YOU), and enjoyed it immensely on the first listen, I am sure it will continue to grow on me. Thanks for the 'Heads Up"..:)
Awesome once again. You are the king! Funny man. That live Buckley is fantastic indeed. Your copy of Caravanserai looks pristine. Must be a brand new record.

@jeffrecordman1958 Black Flag, Black Angels, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club....I am starting a new punk rock band and calling it "Black Hands" Boooowaaaaa!
Great video! I agree with you on Caravanserai. It blew me away in 1972 and still blows me away today. Bare Wires is a favorite of mine also. I traded for it in college probably around 1971 and I think I got the better of the trade. Thanks for your efforts in making this a lively, creative community!
@MrPlatypus9 I just played it once, so it is wonderful to hear that it has longevity too! Loved all the Babylon cover art photos, along with the original soundtrack you put together, you actually have talent!
Great video man! You make your videos so fun, I love it. I had this John Mayall album (The Turning Point) laying around, I think my dad gave it to me, I never listened to it, but after hearing that album you played, I put it on and man it really rocks. I love it. I really want the one you showed.
@MrFartboy79 Don't tell me which Tim Buckley, I wanna see it in the video. You got Star Sailor., It is not Lorca...mmmm. What's so funny? , this paint ain't coming off, and I gotta go to work in the morning!
@MrFartboy79 You are correct, that's not really true. , Mick Taylor plays slide guitar on "Country Honk" and guitar on "Live With Me"...I got nasty habits....I take tea at three.....AWESOME!
Obviously, true artists can't be afraid to get their hands a little dirty! Speaking of painting outside the lines, Dr. John (not Lil Wayne) is the original New Orleans gangsta. He "fonkified" the language, took inspiration from Harold Battiste and with the Meters backing him put "Gris-Gris" and "Desitively Bonnaroo" in our ears. Six shakes of the can for outrageously hysterical aerosol expression! I get it, I love it and I've got the Tim Buckley in my head!
That guitar tone via Mick Taylor is straight up bitching! Wow! I've missed out and have to get that record. Tim Buckley... Star Sailor... That's probably where the band Star Sailor got their name. You have to check out his son, Jeff Buckley. He has a song called Dream Brother that you need to check out on his album Grace. He's a spittin' image of his father and his voice is very similar. Great video, LOL!
@buddybopper There is a bit of melancholy in regard to Jeff and Tim, as they were an estranged pair. You're right, I really need to get into "Grace" a little deeper. Two twists of fate deprived us from ever hearing them perform together, can you even imagine?

You're hilarious, man. I always enjoy your videos. I'm a big Jeff Buckley fan, but it sounds like I need to check out his dad's work.

@TheInfiniteGroove Oh, that album has the track "Room to Move" on it with the great harmonica playing by J.M.
I hope next time your Dad gives you an album, you put it on immediately, he knows his stuff! hahah

@Jimiz1Girl Three cheers for Dr. John, officially a national treasure! As my mother would say: "Don't laugh at him, it only makes him worse."

Man your intros are genius! Tim Buckley is wonderful. Goodbye and Hello is probably my favorite although I totally dig his avant-garde recordings.
