Aeroflot normal company and from 1994 years of not a single catastrophe. And there are sometimes technical disrepairs,as well as in any other large airlines in the world. But without consequences. In the last few years many large airlines had problems. American Airlines,Air France,Delta,BRITISH AIRWAYS,Swiss, SPANAIR and at many other. So, that it is necessary to judge objectively, rather than just from one side. And enroute Moscow-New York, service and kresla, in Aeroflot is better, than Delta.

Actually Aeroflot is much worth than Thai Airways, however you will like it: Russian speaking people, Russian atmosphere, that isn't bad in my opinion

Aeroflot does have a nasty history but it's important to note that they've replaced a lot of their older less reliable planes, and their maintenance has gotten a bit better.

That said, they have a terrible tendency of outsourcing their domestic operations. TATL and mainline Aeroflot is very safe, but their partner airlines like Aeroflot-Nord and Aeroflot-Don... well you couldn't pay me to get near one of their aircraft. They operate like regional carriers (A la XJT) but their maintenance is baad

Why does so much peole thinks that Aeroflot is a bad airline? I've flown 5 or 6 times with Aeroflot from Frankfurt to Moskow. And I've flown one time from Moskow to Irkutsk on a Tupolev Tu-154. It was great.

that is NOT ! The reason for all those accidents is the lack of maintnence. It doesn't matter how good is your plane : if you don't take care of it, it'll eventually ... crash.

Aeroflot has such a good pilots that brign their children in the cockpit, sit them in their sits and let them fly the aircrafts. And of course die all together along with the passengers

What about TWA old aircrafts that burst in flight, or Helios airways aircrafts that crash for unpressurised cabin? Stop criticizing Aeroflot for accidents that occured even to the greatest airlines in the world (I mean crashs), just because we are talking about an "ugly, stinky and prehistoric Soviet-Russian-Bolchevik Airline"...

The specific accidents you've mentioned occurred because of technical reasons.Surely a big ammount of air accidents are occurred because of human mistake - however that was THE absolut stupidity
