  • How come I didn't notice how awesome this game's music was back then...?

  • This video needs more recent comments.

On a separate note, still waiting for Chai kingdom.

  • ZA WARUDO. MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA

    "WRONG GAME IDIOT"

    oh...

  • Damn i most find my Super Mario Land

  • Nintendo has stayed true for all these years.

  • with what they had to work with back them it blows my mind how they were able to make such an incredibly vivid, amazing, ear pleasing tune! I am sorry but this so called quote "next generation of gaming" should be ashamed of itself because I am!

The experiences I get with gaming and its music these days makes me sick! It's like no one is even trying anymore because they have all this technology to work with. They just throw something together as long as it has good graphics. Nintendo=Awesome

  • @dposey38 Yes, music really makes the game doesn't it? I'm so happy Nintendo is still giving us great music like the Super Mario Galaxy stuff and all the Super Smash Bros Brawl music.

  • I'm not the only one to make up lyrics to this song as a kid right?

  • @MrHomelessHank Haha soo true! It was something like "dü dü dü düü Mario likes Chrunchy Nut!" ;)))

  • I got SOOOO close to beating this game, then I died. that's my problem with marathon games.

  • Great!!!! Now you made me remember the first mario game i ever played :P

  • WOW this game sure does bring back memories, no matter how usless they are!

  • Instantly favorited when I heard the startup.

  • defines almost my whole childhood.

  • This sounds like a late 70's song without lyrics.

    Cooooooooooool.

  • When i herd this i froze, i can remember it exactly, memories :D!, I used to play this when i was 5.

I can barely remember the game but will always remember the music.

  • Birabuto and Chai are good too. Are you going to upload one of those sometime as well?

  • First Gameboy game I ever had. Loved it. Such memories of being a kid at Christmas with the legendary grey brick.

  • @LiamRiordan My first game too!

  • MasterFeign

tu l'aime bien toi Daisy ? Ou tu préfère Peach ou Harmonie ?

  • Y'know, I was just listening to this one yesterday! Absolutely love it.

All those bouncing insects, making that zapping sound after you jump on them.

    *sniff* Classic. Thanks for posting!

  • my fav from the game.

aww that's the first game i've ever played... good times.

  • Simple but carefree.

I expect some Super Mario Land 3 (better known as Wario Land) songs in the future.

  • This song made me want to enjoy life to the fullest each and every day. Seriously.

  • Aww :D

  • i luv this song

  • I love Gameboy music !

  • Man, what a relic this is! A flashback to a different era, for sure!

  • I just sold this one not too long ago...I've beaten it tons of times, so I'm okay with it.

lol, this is the song I kept thinking of after I sold it :(

  • YES! i fav song from the game.

  • Sweet, sweet memories. <3

  • my first Gameboy game, and I played it for hours and hours until I beat it.

  • i remember completing this game :) good days

  • Boy is this a flashback to more simpler times.

I still have this game...and by today's standards it looks like one of those games you play onyour wristwatch. But the only difference was that this game was rad!

Reminds me of when I Iwas six trying this game out in FAO Schwarz at the mall. This thrilled me back then and it still does today. Certainly is a relic of those times that one cannot froget.

  • That game was awesome. My favorite BGM was the "asian" song, I think it was World 4.

  • You mean Chai Kingdom? It played in Worlds 4-1 and 4-2.

  • fantastic game, really hard too, i just wish it had more than 12 levels

  • To be honest, this has to be my favorite Mario game of all time. It's the one I had the most fun playing through beginning and end, almost bit off my finger because of the frustration this game caused me. But really good memories. Thanks for posting this.

  • boy, I gotta go dig this and my GBA up, I gotta play this again!

  • You are now aware that this sounds similar to Penny Lane by the Beatles.

  • Hopefully this song will be in the next Super Smash Brothers game like how the Desert theme from Super Mario Land was in Brawl.

  • Wait, which level was this, because just listening to it reminds me of the shooter part at the end. Am I even close in that assumption?

  • yes, yes you are.

  • Never played or even herd of this game..But..that sounds great! ^_^

  • Never forget the classics, especially not this one!

  • Oh great... now the tunes stuck in my head for the first time in years.

    Can't say that's a bad thing though :p

  • Wow, i had completely forgotten how good super mario land had *hums along to the song*

  • awesome game, awesome track. aaaahhh the memories ^_^
