I noticed how the ad shows an Infiniti Q45 for advanced engineering, but the CV "has the most advanced engine in its class". I guess it does compared to a Chevy Caprice, but not to an all-aluminum VVT DOHC 32-valve V8 from Japan.
I'd still like a fat Panther to drive home though.
I have had 2 92 LXs. It was the first car I bought for myself in 2002. I always thought I wanted A 94-96 Imp SS but they were way too expensive still back then. I also wanted A Z28 or Mustang GT...this was the best thing I could come up with I got it for $1800 with 81k miles. It also had the cheapest insurance of just about any V8 I could afford.I have had A 96 CV P71,99 Merc LS,05 CV LX and A 01 Merc GS.Great beaters killed most of 'em! Now I Got A 2010 'stang GT. I am A life long Ford Guy!!
I miss mine.with 2 tv screens and 18 inch chrome rims.also had two mtx audio thunder 9500 in the trunk.now all thats left are the subs and the amp which are now going to be installed on my grand marquis
@bigcrowfly Thats because these cars lose their value quickly due to the fact that the design is obsolete (30+years). In other words people want something fresh but I would buy another one in a heart beat. They are roomy and get decent MPG.

@bigcrowfly the price actually went up to $25k at the time it was sold in 2007, due to inflation of course. The car had the same chassis AND engine for 20 years, so a change in price wouldnt make sense. Thats the beauty of this car, so many people know how to work on it :]
20 grand for that piece of shite back in 92
