you dont need to protect you arm if you hold then guitar on the right way

I dont use it to protect my arm, the guitar is not going to hurt me. I stared using it for a better movement of the right hand, it works fine and it is very comfortable for me that now I dont think I can play without it, lol. its the same effect as having long sleeves while playing.
