  • you guys need to work more on the drumming because u guys r missing some

  • Try a new beat... I think master Siow calls it heartbeat? its like dun dun, dun dun , dun dun dun dun (2 2 3 2) i cant drum though i just watch alot... you guys are raw

  • umm work on it guys xD clicks are off and play around a little your freestyle is soo dull >.<

  • I mess up the last sentence on my iPod touch, I meant to say is KEEP IT UP!!!Sounds AMAZING!!!

  • You guys SERIOUSLY ROCK THE BEATS!!!!!! You PLAYERS are BEAST!!!! I might hire you guys if I ever know you guys. Keep I

  • not bad at all!quite good!looks abit malaysian and traditional style,(:I like the beat though,(:

  • i think there might be a few too many click at the start

  • this looks like fucking ass man who argeed

  • Nice! But I think there MAY have been too many clicks in the beginning of the performance. But thats MY opinion, and it MAY NOT be correct since my team does not do Malaysian drumming.

  • My troupe is way better than them!

  • Nice job, yo guyes sound good.

Keep up the good work !!

I play the traditiona fut san style.

  • If there is a marking scale out of 100, I will give 80/100. Keep it up! I come from HK and I've learned Lion Dance before.

  • r u serious people critisize u guys that is pretty good. it looks like you guys are pros

  • really admire you guys . good job.

  • GOOD JOB u dont even need a profesional to help u,AMAZING! keep up the good work

  • post more videos, this is great! awesome job. i love the movements of the cymbalers!

  • nice drumming girl

  • hmmm the drumming is cool but in the begining..

why is ther soo many clicks???

  • Yeah. Theres only supposed to b about 4 or 5

  • It is actually 6

  • I mean it is actually 6 clicks in the beginning.

  • yeah lols to many

  • incredible, incredible, incredible for learning off youtube! 5 stars. can't say the same for the bits of actual lion dance or the somewhat clowny final instrument presentation at the end. Lose the jumping into the stances and keep the shouts though.

  • ehh u guys did aight, more practice!! try to learn the beat and get in sync with each others!! but other then tht its good!

  • OMG these ppl r AWESOME!!.!

idk wat otheres r talking about?!

they do everyting from scratch without any professional help....

    SO i woulldnt be tallking..!

    >:P

  • Great job!!! Wow. shows that you guys put alot effort! the drums are a little dull, play on it some more.

    But GRREAT JOB!

  • -i give you guys props especially the cymbal player. im a drummer my self for a high school based lion dance group and teaching the cymbal to play correct to my drum to is so frustrating. To say im a high schooler and the drummer is better than me

  • hmmm not bad. its a good start

cymbals are a bit weak. a couple of good pushup workouts will help the arm muscles get stronger.

Also the drummer needs to relax and open up.

It will help even out the rythym especially on the rolls and the faster beats.

Check out UCSD Lion Dance. theres a drumming video up there. has some goodstuff worth checking out.

  • i like this video

personally i think i could use ur guy's style

    its great=)

but when u come out of the 3 bows,u hit the sides only 7 times, watch more vids and u'll get the it

    this a great video

  • is this an american group?? or asian

  • We are based in Nevada, USA. My team is made up of a lot of asian kids though.

  • Another great job by the kids! Tell the kids great and keep up the good job! The beat is awesome even though it isn't perfect, but no one in this world is. I love how you say "Your actions always reflect back on your Sifu" i can definitely agree on that. =]

  • you guys are bitters are lion dance team has that beat too

  • Did your team invent this beat?

  • firehero56, I love negative comments. especially when directed against young kids who are trying their best, because it shows how mature YOU are. Remember, your actions always reflect back on your SIFU. Obviously you come from a team that has no respect. I feel sorry for you. In fact, I am going to show this comment to my team. I hope you feel good about yourself when you make a bunch of 12 year olds feel really bad.

  • I agree with you, and you guys did a great job, even though you learned everything from videos.

    Keep up the great work.

  • If your goal is to help us then I understand, but by your first comment it looks as though that's not your goal. You are trying to be negative.

  • Secondly, we know we need a lot of work like it says in the sidebar we have no coach. We would love to be correct if possible. We are working on it. Just because we put it up on youtube doesn't mean we are trying to say we are totally correct and are not wrong. There is nothing you can say that will make you look respectful now that you left your mark.

  • We invite any criticisms as long as they are constructive. If you just want to leave a comment saying "You guys are messed up" then you need to get a life.

  • I'm not saying its right nor am I saying its wrong, so i'm not trying to prove a point. And wow Master Siow? Must be great to have him as a master.

  • right

  • We ARE bitters. It says so right in the side bar. For our next skit we copied KSK's competition skit and modified it for a table. I want to be good, so we have to bite from the best.

  • cool la

  • Kudos to you! We don't have any teachers locally either..

  • Pretty good from learning through Youtube. Repetition of the drumming should be slow on some part and some should be fast. You have to catch this. I believe you are imitating Sar Ping ... good luck

  • Those are some big ass cymbals, haha.

  • Wow really good for students learning off a video! 5 STARS! all organized and everything the set was really good! quick question for the sam bai...Why is there an intro roll?

  • We did the same too in the beginning.
