  • This is one of my favourite songs. But because of the drummer, this is my favourite video AND song.

  • Am I seeing properly... check out the drummer hitting the high hat at 43 seconds. What the fuk is that ???

  • ever since you were a little bitty teeny girl, you got the ONLY daddy who'll walk the line.

----Sounds more like a confession to me. Just saying... what used to be legal, today is not, & this song is a classic confession.

  • hot damn love that solo!

  • Maury looks like this guy

  • I at first thought of Cash when he said walk the line.

  • man oh man, does this take me back. this was the coolest era for country music. nothing coming out of nashville today can even come close to touching this.

  • wow he looks just like my ex step father, fucking creepy. Get drunk, sing a song, drive home & whip the shit out of us for any reason you could name. He did that cuz it was legal then. I like the song tho.

  • waylon wrote the book on bein cool

  • God damn I miss Hee Haw.

  • This was the firsst song I remember Waylon singing. Thanks!

  • Waylon Jennings, leather Tele, combo-organ, old Fender 12-string electric.. Everything!

  • my grandpa told me at an early age "son,if you ever have a question about life just read the bible and listen to waylon"

  • @kix96fan waylon reminds me of a child molester. my grandpa used to tell me the same thing.

  • @cme98 well, thats your opinion and your entitled to it,wacked and obviously no taste in real music, but nonetheless your opinion. now go on back over and watch your icp and child porn and stay off my page

  • @cme98 you're a fucking queer. i bet you moleste children

  • my fav from waylon

  • The intro and all the guitar picking on this one is...to die for !! Love it ! Let's not forget his good looks either !!

  • it was 1976....Albuquerque, NM Waylon, Willie, Jessie Coulter, and a new artist whos' name escapes me now......$10. What a show!

  • i love that guitar players stance man. and the bass player...very cool. were they a studio band?

  • @eshkakogan75 Probably, Waylon didn't carry the same band very often, and this was recorded in Nashville. So, probably a quick talent find. Only Waylon and Jessie seem to be from any of his touring lineups.

  • I heard this in Talladega Nights and knew it must be Waylon.

  • just love the 'Mustard' yellow suit ...

  • Watch waylons rythym guitar player and the drummers right hand. In perfect timing with each other the whole song. That's what you call tight right there

  • Country performers today WISH they were half as cool as Waylon. He was/is the man!

  • That's for real dead nuts LIVE!!!

  • This is Waylon? WTF?

  • @michaelcorleonepate yea this is a younger waylon from the 60's

  • @michaelcorleonepate Yes, this is Waylon just a few years after his days playing bass for Buddy Holly. He still carried that image until he became one of the Outlaws in the late 60s.

  • @Unlitedsoul : Yes, you can hear it in his picking.

  • Johnny Cash wrote I walk the line. Ivy J. "Jimmy" Bryant wrote this song.

  • Great! Thanx for posting this video!

  • Excellent! Where did this come from? I was looking for the version from the Johnny Cash show but it seems to have been pulled,

Who was in his band at the time?

  • Cash had a song "I walk the line". I wonder if the same person wrote both.

  • awsome song. Waylon is pure country

  • Handsome devil!
