It is not surprising at all. Consider how the Japanese government has continuously denied the truth which the whole world knows about. What happened in history cannot be changed or rewritten just for the sake of one country alone because the whole world was watching as it happened and it was forever recorded in world history. Self-denial by the Japanese or some of its people will only mean that Japan's future generations will continue to bear this MORAL DEBT.

Japanese people are free to do research on the war...Japan does not have net censorship. And many intellectuals speak with their conscious. So I think they do know what happened. The japanese people u referred to are just a handful of people. yes , japan's future generations will bear this Moral debt that they don't deserve!
