This is not the only live recording of Iberia as there are many different pianist's playing the work on youtube. The pianist in this recording is phenomonal. On top of marvelous technique and musicianship his use of color is very very fine.

la verdad es que si uno visita triana en sevilla puede darse cuenta que Albeniz la describe perfectamente en esta obra. fantastica obra, fantastico interprete y fantastico compositor en mi opinion solo la supera el corpus en sevilla!

Sí, gran interpretación, y todo lo que diga bueno de este video sobra. Sólo lo comento porque he leido a uno de los usuarios diciendo que Carbone se parece a Bruce Willis. En ese caso, al acabar el concierto, debería levantarse del piano, y llamarte efraingonzalez, yipikaiyi, hijo de puta.

I love this performance. Iberia is a masterpiece. Albeniz was surely a most underrated composr, and Snr Carbone is a wonderful exponent of his work.

Depende de las que ya hayas tocado... Lavapiés, Eritaña y Málaga son muy difíciles y seguramente más que Triana, pero por qué te preocupa cuál es más difícil? Si tienes un buen profe, ya te aconsejará él.

Beautifully played.  I have the Alicia de Larrocha recording, which is wonderful, but this live performance is sublime. A masterpiece of Spanish music played by a Spanish pianist in a Spanish venue.

Absolutely fabulous! His recording gives me hope, and shows me depths I'd never heard in Triana. Granted, the only other recording I've heard is Rubinstein's blisteringly fast recording (with extra notes), but still, this is very different in a goose-pimply way from Rubinstein's more straightforward approach.
