You can't compare two players with DIFFERENT positions, its like saying Essiens better than drogba, they're both good, but for different reasons

Torres is better than Lampard when it comes to scoring goal (obviously), but when it comes to mid-fielding, Lampard is better

If you compared him to Gerrard, then thats debatable, and even then, Gerrard is better

@88SkyLink gerrard never will be better than lampard cuz lampard is fast and he is very very good with shots and he had many goals from far away with a freekick and i bet gerrard cant even do that but gerrard is also good but i think drogba or malouda will be better than torres cuz torres has some good spanish skills but sometimes he is very slow and loses the ball alot of time. but im glad he went to chelsea i hope chelsea will be champions cuz they have new players like : Torres , David Luiz..

Im ok with you saying that Lampards better than Gerrard cuz its you're opinion, but the reasons you gave are just weak, he HAS scored free-kicks, he HAS fantastic accuracy, he HAS speed, and he HAS fantastic qualities to LEAD the team, He has everything a captain and a mid-fielder should have, yh Lampard is good, but from looking at both the players AND their role for their team, I would pick Gerrard as the victor no doubt, but I respect you're opinion
