I agree with you in some respects, however this effectively is an instruction manual and a sales pitch, hence it has those qualities.
Moreover, some people do require or even prefer a very simplistic explanation of how to do things on a computer - particular the older generation who aren't always too apt at using them. I don't find it patronising, although it could be seen that way. Overall, I think she is a really sweet a beautiful girl.
