@treefalse it would basically be a doubled fivelet. like if you look at the first one, you'd be resting on the first note of the fivelet, then double the rest but in the paradiddlediddle sticking, and then play the last one only as a regular five. sounds complicated, but hope that helps in any way =/

nah man, but i will just take your comment as a compliment. :) Its just taken yrs and yrs of practice to build the chops to play that fast and the way I get my half spins is using my fingers to help spin the sticks faster. If u practice the side spin enough its possible...plus have u ever heard a snare drum sped up?...it doesnt even sound like a snare...and if u speed up drumming the pitch goes up higher and has a very short sound..but clearly in my vid it still sounds like a snare.

What's with the "thumb roll" in the quad beats? Like a tambourine? Not sure I know what that is. But I'm not too impressed with the quad around. I mean, it is damn fast, but I'm just comparing to how demanding it seems on snare. I just expect something more tasty. The thumb roll is a visual for the snare not quad. I have no idea what the opened note heads mean though, but the thumb roll is intended for the snare part.
