I remember when I first saw the commercial for this. It had felt like forever since Ocean Group had stopped dubbing DBZ right in the middle of the Frieza saga and left us hanging. Funimation finally picked up the slack and finished it and when this premiered I shat my pants with excitement.

I am glad I grew up as a kid in the late 90's and early 2000's. Back then we had stuff like DBZ,Justice League/Unlimited,Sailor Moon,Teen Titans,Gundam Wing and Yu Yu Hakusho. My parents accidentally had it on Cartoon Network one day in April 1999, and I saw Toonami-- that did it for me. In fact, I only watched DBZ and didn't care too much for the other shows. Then in 2000, I saw the promo for Tenchi Muyo; still wasn't interested, but the day of it's premeire my Mom said "let's watch it"-- again, that did it. So, I began watching ALL of Toonami. AND THIS INTRO ALWAYS GOT ME PUMPED!!! It still does I swear.
