Favorite song in the whole musical! This definitely the best version of the it I've ever seen. Mordred's got some nice arms! lol he looks a little out of place, but hey it works!
This is absolutely amazing! I just saw this last night and didn't think there could be a better Mordred then the guy who played him at CC. I was wrong!!!
2 chaps have fallen pray to the traps of the Seven Deadly virtues.
Well that's the point, mordred is supposed to look like a freak of nature, an abomination. And dressing him in...that, side by side with the period costumes does exactly that.
I think this is a really wierd take on Mordred. Yes, it is a bit funny and kind of fits him. But, it's also annoying that they had him in that whole outfit, it just doesn't fit the time period.
The choices made for this character made me so angry. He looks like they pulled him out of modern-day Greenwich Village, while everyone else looks period. Stupid.
Yeah, but everyone else is dressed in period costumes. If they had done ALL the costumes to be modern, I could see it, but Mordred just looks silly among all the medieval costumes.
Does anyone have any of the scenes with Fran Drescher in them? I'd love to see them. Unfortunately, I missed the beginning of the show, so this is just fantastic!
A cross-dressing Mordred? How unique. What performance is this anyway? I had no idea there was another performance available besides the Richard Harris one.

He looks like Daniel Radcliffe! I wonder if DR would do Equus in that getup. Come on, Dan! It's New York! Loosen up.
But, yeah, Bobby's arms are positively edible. The feyness of his outfit only points up his masculinity. Love it when he sinks to his knees and crosses himself. *shiver* Oh, the hotness.
Better than I can, that's for sure! You can see him hobbling around practicing in the Rehearsal video posted by the NY Philharmonic. It usually comes up in the list of related videos.
I know this sounds strange, but his muscular arms keep distracting me, lol. Like, look at that crazy hair, makeup and clothes? No, look at his toned arms.
I really love the performance...but the strange costuming ruins it for me.

Cross-dressing is not the worst of it, not at All.
This is Joseph F Kennedy, nothing else, nothing less.
Just ask those alive back in the day, just ask.

I'm kind of obsessive over this portrayal of Mordred. I think my viewings may account for about 5000 of the total.
I love the description, by the way!

yes.. it's called dramatic exemption. He's dressed so diffrently to accent his non-conformist character. It's theater 101 mate.

Seriously, those boots are Eddie Izzard's wet dream. He is so hot! And he and Fran Drescher as the comic relief were fabulous and entrancing.
