I did the same thing for a mini formula car, prep work is everything!!! Our finished pieces were an 8th of what you guys are doing and it took us two full weekends and 4 gallons of bondo to smooth all of the foam out...but I tell you what, it looked hella sweet when it was all done
Yeah something like that We have to formulate a kind of Slurry Mix, Part Light weight high quality body filler and part vinylester resin. But first we still have a lot of fiberglass work to do.
So did you just apply the fiber glass right on top of the foam?

fiberglass wont stick to aluminum foil very well either. it can be separated like taking off tape.
