Does the ANA even have standardized equipment? I believe gave them C7 Rifles yet you see them with AK's, not sure what other western equipment they use and former Russian equipment. You need to have standardization to train.

I think the ANA has the advantage over many armies as it gets training from so Armies, on top of that 80% of soldiers in the world do not get first hand experience like the ANA does, the moment they are trained, they are sent to the front line, where a tour of duty can lost up to 3 years with one month leave each year.
For example this force called the counter terrorism Police is relatively new, but managed to kill twenty Taliban fighters in 2 hours a couple of months ago.

ANA has got to be one of the riskiest jobs on the planet second only to suicide bomber. Imagine having a job and being part of a force where the enemy can be in your town or even living next door and want to murder you and even your family if they find you out 24/7 ....I think 99.9% of people that criticize the ANA would not be man enough to do what the ANA faces or the Afghan Police or hell even the Afghans that vote.
