I think far cry 2 is the most incredible game I've ever seen. crysis of course looks shinier and prettier. I think you really have to play far cry 2 to appreciate the shadows and lighting and how it makes the world look and feel so realistic. hoping far cry 3 doesn't disappoint.

Far Cry 2's best feature is it's map editor. Both console and PC gamers can experience an advanced map editor with simple controls! Crysis has better graphics though. Dynamic fire would be nice but... you can't have everything. Or can you?

Far Cry 2 uses the Dunia Engine, Ubisofts upgraded version of CryEngine. But Cryteks CryEngine2 is a tad more advanced. FC2 = CryEngine1.5 Crysis= CryEngine2. Both games have great graphics and both are awesome. i couldnt choose between the two.

I must say, the AI in crysis is pretty fucking retarded. At least the Farcry 2 enemies will help each other and stuff. But overall Crysis is far better, just the way the game is built is amazing. If you've fiddled around with the sandbox2 (cryengine2) you could basically make the entire farcry 2 story map from that. and dynamic fire is something that's a patch I think in crysis ( I haven't checked) so crysis is just getting better and better.

The suit is the thing that makes the most difference between the games(but even without it, crysis would still be better). With the nanosuit you kinda feel like u are almighty, throwing people around and punching buildings to the ground. The suit allows you to kill the enemy in so many inventive ways. For an example, u can go out in the jungle, shot a samall tree, pick it up, maximum strenght and the beat the shit out of anyone you face. Crysis= GREATEST GAME EVER! BUY IT NOW!...And cod 5 sucks.

Crysis has a ridiculous storyline (remember those guys in the playsuits who feel soooo cool? :D), Far Cry 2 plays in the present and everything is waaay better because of the dirty african conflicts

You start the game saying wow this is amazing get 1/2 through and you realize that it is all the same. EVERY mission you have to drive across half the map(or walk becase your car flips on it's side) then your friend calls and says to go to another place across the map doubling the time spent then you take some pills and thats all of farcry 2.

And everyone talksso fast. worst of all there is NO story whatsoever

graphics for farcry are really good when u have a high end system but compare to crysis they almost the same but in farcry u can see far and its slower game play with not that much action. crysis has alot of action and its fun with awesome graphics all at very high.

Crysis RAPES FC2.

Graphically wise, there's no compare.

Crysis put on their knees even the most pumped graphic cards and you need to SLI or Crossfire to play it at high resolutions, while FC2 runs even on consoles.

Gameplay wise, FC2 has some goods (the large environment) and a lot of bads (no strafe position, no external visuals of veichles, no camouflage, simplicistic AI, boring missions), while Crysis is pure fun.

Also, the physics in FC2 sucks, fire apart. Most things are undestructeable.

Far Cry 2, in my opinion, has more dynamics to it. Crysis seems to be the bare minium detail wise. Far cry does let the player down at times with the repetitive gameplay although there are so many ways to play through the game. People that say they get bored with it have to try approaching situations in differnt ways. If you played crysis the same way every time im sure you'd get pretty bored pretty quickly.
