I'm a zoo keeper at parc safari in Canada and yesterday I saw a women being accidently draged for maybe 20 meters by one of those. With everything I see in the parc, I can definitely say that people don't know the dangers enough. I mean I see people getting out of there car everyday in the Safari Adventure !!! While going into Grand Tetons from Yellowstone everyone had stopped to see a Moose (male), a bunch of Asians went into the woods near it. Of course I took out my video camera at ready to get the Moose attacking them (because some people don't learn). He must have been in a good mood that day because he walked away into the river! I don't think it matters how many times the rangers tell people to stay yards away from wildlife. Still to many people with small amounts of brain cells!

Saying a large carnivore is dangerous to humans means you're an evil Bambi killing monster. That kind of attitude has gotten many safari tourists killed... Ours pets are victims of same alienation. They're treated as small hairy humans, and not as members of their own species, causing them to be mistreated.
