Chevy Camaro 76 - 350CU - flowmaster 50 serie - rebuild engine

Did you have any drone inside the ar with these mufflers? I've got the 40 series now, but it gets annoying in the interior if you're trying to have a conversation with the passenger. I'm going to add an x-pipe, but am contimplating getting these or not.

@74camarolt The 40 series are way different from the 50's series. The 50's series are loud when you accelerate, but very "quiet" when your cruizing at one speed. If you have a stock engine : replace the mufflers, forget the x-pipe, this is only usefull when you have a lot of horsepower (and even then it's questionable) ... Use headers, 2" or 2.25" pipes, and place the mufflers in the middle of the car, and you'll have this sound (I still love it, when I hear it) !

HEY U MAN! I have same looking camaro :O blue 1, same edlbrock aircompressor, same engine ( but dirtyer ;) ) and i have flowmaster 50. BUT. I have much noisier and screamable noise u know? and btw. i have header, but no cat too ;D . hope u keep ur camaro, like i keep mine... btw i have 3" x2 mufler. are yours 2,5" or what?

how much were the mufflers or was it the whole entire exhaust kit cause i think under mine its welded together so ill need to buy the whole kit

that sounds really nice! could u plz tell me the model # of ur Flowmasters, i have original 40s on my chevelle, but i want it a little more smoother and quiet. the sound of ur camaro is just what im lookin for.

These are 50 series, no balance pipe, placed a little more to the rear of the car.

thats what i plan on doing to my future 78z28

but the block & heads are gona be painted GM blue

and the air cleaner assembly is gona be like the one found on the 69z28 hood

and the teardrop scoop im gona make it functional and seal it like how the 69z8 has it on their hood
