If I wanted to put E.L. wire on a helmet, need-less to say, I can't sew to a helmet. Could I use hot glue to mount the wire?
KScharba 1 year ago
very cool. I gotta do it to a jacket. Or maybe my whole house.
thegardener007 1 year ago

bunnyhallow 1 year ago
stupid question but can i just soder some copper wire to the el wire and then attach it to a 6v battery?????????????? is the inverter needed??
ButHeHasDImples 1 year ago
@ButHeHasDImples yes the inverter is needed, EL runs on AC, not the battery's DC current.

With the thinner wires under the first layer, you dont have to solder both, one will still do the job.
mjlynch712 1 year ago
Dang. I was hoping I could do this at home.
:/ I really don't want to spend a crap ton of money for a few lines.
I say, get some glowsticks and super glue.
