Irregardless it is illegal everywhere I know of to keep wild game alive. They re suppose to be killed and included in the daily bag as per rule and law. The fellow is in jeopardy of losing his hunting priviledges, his vehicle and his firearm at the time. Stupid to put this on video as it is merely ego driven and serves no purpose othe than to irritate those who don't hunt and really PO those of us that do. Shows no regard to the public, the resource or the law. I hope they find you.
Okay people. . . how ignorant are most of you anyway, including the hunters....this is a cotton tail rabbit and it is a pygmy cottontail at that. Look it up before you spout off. Most of these are now protected and illegal to have or consume except in a few areas where there numbers are particularly high. That is a full grown rabbit. You will not find a wild bunny that time of year without it being full grown. The rabbits produce only in the spring when hunting season has been closed for months.
@videoshoot243 unfortunately, while i do believe the guy in this vid is probably a dumbass, i must say, you, Mr. videoshoot, are the dumbest. cotontail rabbit are NOT full grown at all other times a year, they are also NT protected and most states have a yea4r round hunting season with bag limits in excess of 5 to 10 per day. so do everyone a favor, and research things before you go spouting off.
Man im a hunter and have been for years now. I dont like seeing animals die and thats why i use a gun, not snare or trap. When i seen this it made me sick, what the hell was that end part ? Dont think any normal person would do that with a baby rabbit let alone any animal. I suggest you stick to shooting them and not trapping them so you can do whatever ya want to em.
1. don't hold them by the ears. 2. rabbits only scream like that when in terrible pain or dying. 3. baby rabbits dont eat carrots. One that small still needs him mom. 4. his mom was probably somewhere grazing when you took him thinking he was abandonded. 5. and most important, show some respect! Either kill him and eat him or let him go. if he's too small then leave him alone. Don't try to "care" for him when you obviously have no idea what you are doing only to kill him anyway.
@sagecreeps ok? Because that made sense? You are no real hunter if you pick on the poor defensless ones. You are clearly lying in this video as well stating that "you saved it from black widows" If that place was full of deadly spiders then why did you stick your hand in it? You can't kill baby rabbits and you can't keep them in your house as you did. Both of those are illegal.
@TrueEnergizerBunnies i raise rabbits and that rabbit is plenty old enough to be away from his mom, and they scream when they are scared not just when they are in pain!!!
dont say something if you dont know what your talking about......
This brings me to conclude two things. 1. You are a liar. 2. You are an angry, unhappy person. I'd say 95% of the people make the world a better place. Then there are the 5% that just bring everyone else down. Why not make the effort to climb out of that hole? I cannot imagine someone getting so bent out of shape about a post/video on a web site that has absolutely nothing to do with them. Odd behavior at best.
@furballssuck cant do shit a bout it = you. Besides he didnt kill the rabit what is this murder talk? were your born dumb or did you work at it your whole life?
@gary77777778888888 they qq (meaning cry about it) but then they encourage people to do it in the first place. because they swore at those people and abused them for a video that had no murder in it. and they say its murder, well it isnt and because they abuse the guy who didnt do murder that encourages the person to murder anyway. and technically its the person who qqed about it that made it happen. so hes the murderer, not the murderer. obviously you would have no clue
@eat4peace yes because im an evil pathetic killing machine that the planet would be better without, but i don't act stupid by trying to pass my actions as "humane" i know full well that everything i do is inhumane to the life around me
Then you have absolutely no right to argue in this instance.
The meat that you eat will have suffered horrible living conditions and an inhumane death in an abattoir. Mine will have died instantly after a good and happy life.
@EvstarProductions1 He didn't save it from widows. He said that to make what he did seem good. He actually chased the baby rabbit, caught it in that thing, and caged it at his house (which is illegal) so he could kill it later. Wild rabbits do not do well in captivity and 90% die within a few days. So either it died because he took it out of the wild or he killed it later.
@joshjosh141 you are an idiot. The scruff and ears are totally different things. I can pick you up by your hair and say that's the same thing as your arm. It's not and it's very painful. Ever yank on your ears really hard? Hurts doesn't it?
u guys who made this vid is evil hunting is good but that well people like that should be hung by there nuts like u are holding that rabbit by its ears
dude, never ever ever hold a bunny by the ears! poor thing. i have bunnies as pets and it really hurts them... its one thing to support their body and hold their ears to calm them but .. ouch
hahaha buddy......i suggest you see a doctor asap.. im all for hunting but seriously where i come from that is harassing animals . you either kill the fuckin thing or leave it alone...
@APeXDiablo yeah.. I know what that feels like.. I guess it's different being a rabbit owner and a rabbit hunter.. lol. I get my arms clawed up every time I try to cut my rabbit's nails. But they're such cool pets, so it's worth it.
@ThePointinDog then tell me this, if you grab a domesticated rabbit by the ears, why would they still scream? if they haven't been exposed to the wild and don't have the same environment as a wild rabbit, then why would it still scream? and also, a rabbit will scream the very same way when you cut its nails too short. It's a pain response.
@somethingtidal Rabbits have not been domesticated for that long, they still hold some traits for wild rabbits. Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years and they STILL hold traits from wild dogs. I've caught wild rabbits and held them in my shirt, they give off that same scream even though they aren't in any pain It's just a sign of fear or danger.
There are people who, you know, raise them, and have experience observing them. It's pretty standard knowledge that you don't pick up a rabbit by the ears or the scruff of the neck, because it does hurt them, and can sometimes rip the ears. "Oh, well, how about if I hold him by the ears and *stroke downwards at the same time petting him* in a sort of sadistic display of love? Aw, how cute!"
Dress it up any way you like, fella, you're holding an animal to inflict both pain and terror in order to get it to scream, when other options are available. The only remaining rationale is that you get a kick out of it. Congrats.
