Elena Lev was born in 1981 and is 29 years old as of this writing. She is the most amazing hoopist/contortionist I've ever seen. She is rhythmic, graceful and beautiful. It's just too bad that all the videos of her are of such poor quality. She is a true phenomenon.

i saw a video of her performance when she was older (i think) in alegria, i wonder why she didn't keep the part where she spun around with the hula hoop on her foot? it was pretty awesome

This was a special event for Cirque, they did also show the old Contortion act from Saltimbanco, it's somewere here on youtube.

And Elena's act in Alegria, same in Quidam was especially created for Cirque after that it became 'her' routine.

Actually, she was in Alegria at a very young age. You have to remember that Alegria started in 1994 and was not filmed until 2001.
